I selected this student because she is strong in phonemic awareness, yet her writing scores are weak and she needs the most individualized support in writing. Genesis was referred to me in the third grade because she was a. I felt really bad for the grandma because no one seemed to be pleased with her or listen to her. I felt like the son was almost tired of dealing with his own mom, or that is the feeling I got from his reactions to her. Even the children did not seem to respect the old lady. Throughout the whole story there were little. write about. If someone asked me a question, I could answer verbally but I would not know how to get my thought into writing. Writing was my hardest roadblock to overcome. As I got into middle school, I did a little better especially if I was telling a story or relaying a personal experience.

For eighth grade, I remember writing about Abraham Lincoln. I read books and articles about him. Then, I wrote a narrative story about Lincoln as a boy and teenager. I did really well and even my rough. this essay was to reflect over the personalities and situations of the characters in a different point of view. To make the point clearer, I would not use excessive words and be straightforward. The strongest aspect of this essay was that the author really puts their selves into the characters' position and reflects over the situation in another point of view. A quote from the essay that proves this aspect is: "Honestly, if I were in Joanna's position I would be very offended, because in my mind.

However, in my mind, I do not think I am that good of a writer. My mom really enjoys my writing and has stated many times to me that she thinks I am very good at writing. Somehow I just do not see it. I think I am an okay writer, but I would like to get better. My goal for this year is to gain more confidence when it comes to my writing and to stop being my own worst critic. Something that I am good at when it comes writing is writing on my blog. No one really came to mind to write about and I thought for sure I would never be able to get this thing done on time. I finally decided that I would write in on my mother, Kari. I may not remember every moment I had with my biological parents, but I know my dad was always on a short fuse, and one day, he blew up. I actually find it coincidental now how I never liked him to begin with. Even when I was that age, I never let him carry me on his shoulders or toss me in the air like any normal and loving dad.

I stared at myself in the mirror. I was in pure shock. I had so many questions, so many thoughts were crossing my mind all at once. I began to brush my hair as that was the only thing that would seem to keep me calm. I hit a large tangle from running around at recess during that school day. I tugged and tugged but it would not come out. I then began to think about all the times my dad would brush my hair. He would hold the hair tight so the knots would not hurt to get out. I got so angry thinking I could never experience that again with him, I threw the hairbrush at the wall. It made a dent. The dark brown eyes staring back at me were foreign, the slightest trace of their previous owner had faded and the soul of their new owner shone through them with a happiness that could only be conjured up by one thing- new hair.

If your mom is like mine then you are sure lucky. I've always wondered what my mom was like as a kid. She had told me about how she was a pregnant teenager and how people would judge her because she had made mistakes in the past. But I knew that I would love my mom for who she was and how she is a great mother for me and a great wife to Brad. Have you ever done something your parents told you not to do. Of course you have, everyone has at one point, some of us did it because we wanted independence or just to show that we could. Well, when I was 7 I had a weird obsession with touching the eyes of fish, I don't know why they just looked shiny, glossy, soft, and smooth. A minute later I'm running towards the house screaming that the fish had a knife on his back and cut me, my grandparents both laughed at me and to this day they keep reminding me about the.

Monopoly was for counting money as well as for basic economics: how much does this house cost? is it worth it? She would try to get lost. It was the eighties and we had no cell phones or GPS. But, we had a car, and she said we were free with a car. She drove down all the little roads, but we were never really lost because we were never really scared and all roads lead somewhere. A mother is someone who can take the place of all others but no one can take the place of her. There are many different definitions you could use to describe your mother. My mother, Pam Krull, fits every one of those. Today I decided to pick the three that I thought was most important to me.

Without any doubt, my mother is the most important person in my life and the most powerful individual I know. She is very beautiful and has the kindest eyes that I have ever seen. She not only worked hard to ensure that I had a good upbringing, but was also very strict and often punished me whenever I went wrong. Even though I did not like the punishment then, I now look back and realize that it was meant to lovingly correct me and help me to follow the right path when growing up. My siblings and I have always taken pride in the appearance of our mother, especially her lovely long hair. I remember whenever my mother came to visit us at school, other pupils would urge us to ask our mother to remove the pins from her hair so they could see the long well-kept hair.

Even though I have seen very many beautiful people, very few ladies match the beauty of my mother. One of the reasons that I and my siblings were especially fond of my mother is the way she used to take great care of us, especially when we were ill. She is a very knowledgeable lady who made a variety of home remedies to help take care of the minor illnesses that we had as children.

She is a very knowledgeable lady who made a variety of home remedies to help take care of the minor illnesses that we had as children. Her motherly love also extended to the animals on the farm, especially the chickens. My mother would always check on the chickens and give them medicine whenever she determined that they had some ailment. My siblings and I did not like to see our mother sad and would do just about anything to bring a smile to her face. Interestingly, even when she was very worried or sad about something, she would always smile to make us stop worrying about her.

My mother not only loved those around her but was also compassionate. We often observed her compassion towards our neighbors, especially when a new neighbor moved in or when one of the neighbors was going through a hard time. My mother would sacrifice her time to go to a needy neighbor with a hot bowl of soup that would instantly make the neighbors feel appreciated. My mother was a good cook who always left us looking forward to the next meal. She knew how to mix the right ingredients to end up with a meal that often left us licking our fingers.

Just the memory of the foods that my mother prepared for us makes me salivate to this present day.
